This is the complete Mount Rinjani experience — the full four-day caldera traverse. Our Mount Rinjani 4 days trek climbs from the open grasslands of Sembalun up to the crater rim, summits Indonesia’s second-highest volcano (3,726 m) at sunrise, then drops into the caldera to the sacred Segara Anak crater lake and its hot springs, before crossing to the Senaru rim and descending through rainforest to Senaru village. Summit, lake, and two contrasting rim camps — with an unhurried extra day to soak it all in. We’ve been guiding this mountain since 2006, and we run every trip fully supported by a professional guide, porters and a mountain cook, so you can focus on the adventure and the views.
Standing on the summit of Rinjani at sunrise, with the caldera glowing below and Bali’s Mount Agung floating on the horizon, is one of those moments you’ll be telling stories about for years. And here’s the good news: with the right team around you, it’s more achievable than it looks.
This is a genuine mountain adventure — Rinjani is a big, wild volcano and we’ll never pretend otherwise — but you don’t need to be an athlete to love it. What you need is a positive attitude, a steady pace, and a team who knows every step of the trail. That’s us. We welcome trekkers of many fitness levels, we set the pace around you, and we’ve built our whole reputation on making this climb feel supported, safe and genuinely fun.
We’re a local Lombok team, born and raised around this mountain, and we’ve been guiding the Mount Rinjani 4 days trek since 2006. Our guides don’t just walk you up — they share the legends, spot the wildlife, point out the edelweiss, and keep the mood light when the trail gets steep. You’ll find more about the mountain on our Mount Rinjani destination page, part of a UNESCO Global Geopark. The four-day route is our most relaxed — an extra day at the lake means more hot-spring soaking, more rest, and less rush.
This is a fully supported camping trek, and we sweat the details so you don’t have to.
