We’re Adventure Lombok — a small, local team based in Senggigi, on the beautiful island of Lombok. We’ve been showing travellers around our home island since 2006, and to this day, every trip we run is arranged by people who actually live here.
We started with a simple belief: that the best way to experience Lombok isn’t from a big tour bus or a fixed itinerary, but with a local guide who knows the island, cares about your day, and treats you like a friend rather than a booking number. Nearly two decades later, that’s still exactly how we work.
We’re a fully local, independently-owned tour operator and Destination Management Company. That means there’s no overseas call centre and no middleman — when you message us, you’re talking directly to the people who’ll plan and run your trip. Our guides and drivers are Lombok-born, experienced, and chosen as much for their warmth as their knowledge.
Over the years we’ve been recognised with a GetYourGuide Award and hundreds of kind words from travellers on Tripadvisor — but honestly, the reviews we’re proudest of are the ones that mention our guides by name. That tells us we got the important part right.
Every trip we run is private and built around you. We don’t bundle strangers together or rush you through a checklist. You tell us what you’d love to see — Mount Rinjani, the Gili Islands, hidden waterfalls, Sasak villages — and we shape the days around your pace and interests.
We also believe in travelling honestly and responsibly. We’ll always tell you what an experience is really like, we work with local communities, and we look after the places we take you to. If something isn’t the right fit for you, we’ll say so.
