This is our most-loved day out, the Gili Islands snorkeling tour that travellers rave about. In one relaxed, fun-filled day you’ll snorkel the best spots around all three Gili Islands: swim with sea turtles at Gili Meno’s famous Turtle Point, float over the hauntingly beautiful underwater statues, drift along coral gardens off Gili Air and Gili Trawangan, and unwind on white-sand beaches in between. It’s a full day (around 7–8 hours) with private hotel pick-up, a private boat, quality snorkeling gear and a local guide who knows exactly where the turtles hang out. There’s a moment on this trip that happens almost every time: someone puts their face in the water for the first time, and thirty seconds later comes up shouting “TURTLE!” through their snorkel. That’s the Gilis. The water is warm and glass-clear, the reefs start shallow, and the Gili Islands are home to one of the healthiest sea-turtle populations in Indonesia, so sightings aren’t luck, they’re the norm.
You don’t need to be a strong swimmer or have snorkeled before. Life jackets are always available, the boat is never far, and our guides are in the water with you — pointing out the turtle you’d have missed, helping nervous first-timers relax, and somehow always knowing where the clearest water is that day.

A relaxed full day: pick-up from your hotel, a scenic drive to the harbour, then out on the water hopping between the three islands, three or four snorkel stops with rests, beach time and lunch break on an island in between. The pace is easygoing; this is a holiday highlight, not a race. We finish mid-afternoon and drive you back to your hotel, salty, sun-happy and full of turtle stories.

Morning — Hotel Pick-Up & Harbour Private pick-up from your hotel (Senggigi, Mataram and surrounds) and a scenic coastal drive to the harbour, where your boat and guide are waiting. A short, beautiful crossing brings you to the Gilis.
Late Morning — Snorkel Stops: Turtles & Statues Snorkel the day's best spots around Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan — Turtle Point, where green and hawksbill turtles graze the seagrass, and the famous circle of underwater statues off Meno's west coast. Your guide reads the conditions and chooses the clearest water.
Midday — Island Lunch Break & Beach Time Land on one of the islands for a relaxed lunch break and free time — swim, stroll the beach, or grab a coconut and simply enjoy being on a tiny car-free island.
Afternoon — Gili Air Coral Gardens & Return A final snorkel over the coral gardens off Gili Air, then a leisurely cruise back to the harbour and your private transfer to the hotel. Home by late afternoon with a camera full of turtles.
The tour includes private transportation to and from your hotel, a private outrigger boat for island hopping, snorkeling equipment, bottled drinking water, and the services of a professional English-speaking guide.
We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a camera (preferably waterproof), and some cash for optional purchases like lunch or souvenirs on the islands.
Absolutely, and you're in the best place to start. The water is calm and clear, life jackets are always available, and your guide is in the water with you the whole time. First-timers usually become the biggest enthusiasts by lunchtime.
We can never promise wildlife, but the Gilis have one of Indonesia's healthiest turtle populations and sightings are near-daily at Turtle Point. If any spot is quiet, your guide moves to another. Most guests see several.

Meals are not included in the tour price. However, there are local cafes and restaurants on the islands where you can purchase lunch or snacks.

The tour starts with an 8:30 AM hotel pick-up and typically concludes in the late afternoon, around 3:30 to 4:00 PM, depending on your location.
