Gili Meno is the smallest and most peaceful of Lombok’s three Gili Islands — a tiny, car-free haven of powder-white beaches, crystal-clear water and swaying palms. If Gili Trawangan is the lively one, Meno is its serene opposite, beloved by honeymooners and anyone seeking a quiet tropical escape. Here, the loudest sound is the lapping of the waves.
Things to Do on Gili Meno
Meno is all about slowing down. Snorkel with sea turtles and over the famous underwater statues just offshore. Stroll the empty beaches, swim in the shallows, and watch the sunset over Bali.
There’s a small salt lake and a bird park inland. With no cars, you explore on foot, by bicycle or by cidomo horse cart, at the gentlest of paces.
How to Get to Gili Meno
Gili Meno is reached by fast boat from Bali or from Lombok’s Bangsal harbour, often via the other Gilis. We arrange the transfers for you. Wondering which island fits your style? See our guide to which Gili is right for you, or explore the wider Gili Islands and Lombok.
