Yogyakarta Tour — 3-Day Borobudur & Culture Trip

Yogyakarta tour is the perfect introduction to the cultural heart of Java. Over three days you’ll watch the sunrise over Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist temple, explore the majestic Hindu temples of Prambanan, and discover the living traditions of the Sultan’s city. From ancient stone to royal palaces and a smoking volcano, it’s Java’s soul in three unforgettable days.

Yogyakarta is the artistic and spiritual centre of Java. As a local Indonesian operator since 2006, we handle every detail of this private cultural trip.

Why Choose This Yogyakarta Tour

You see Java’s greatest treasures, privately and at your own pace. Witness the sunrise illuminate Borobudur, a 9th-century UNESCO masterpiece. Marvel at the soaring Hindu spires of Prambanan. Explore the Sultan’s Palace, the Taman Sari water castle and the batik workshops of old Yogyakarta. Ride a jeep across the lava fields of Mount Merapi. Combine it with Bali or see our full Java destination page.

What to Expect

This is a relaxed cultural journey. Days mix iconic temples, royal heritage and local crafts, with an early start for the magical Borobudur sunrise. You travel privately with a knowledgeable guide, and the pace leaves room to absorb each place. Evenings can include a traditional Ramayana ballet at Prambanan. It’s an easy, rewarding trip suitable for most ages.
