Flores Ovarland Kelimutu and Wae Rebo tour is the ultimate journey across Flores, combining the island’s two greatest experiences. Over seven days you’ll trek to the cloud village of Wae Rebo, cross the scenic highlands through ancient villages and hot springs, and finish at the surreal tri-coloured lakes of Kelimutu at sunrise. It’s the complete Flores, done properly.

Flores is a land of volcanoes, cloud villages and deep tradition. As a local Indonesian operator since 2006, we handle every detail of this private grand overland journey.

Why Choose This Kelimutu and Wae Rebo Tour

You experience all of Flores, deeply and unhurried. Trek to Wae Rebo, the cone-roofed village above the clouds, and stay overnight. Visit the megalithic Ngada villages near Bajawa. Soak in volcanic hot springs. Then watch sunrise over Kelimutu’s colour-changing crater lakes. With seven days, there’s time to go slow and go deep. Add islands and dragons with our Komodo tours, or see the Flores destination page.

What to Expect

This grand tour flows from cloud village to highlands to crater lakes. It includes a moderate trek to Wae Rebo and an overnight in a traditional house, then scenic overland days through villages, waterfalls and hot springs, finishing with the Kelimutu sunrise. Expect long but beautiful drives, warm hospitality and comfortable accommodation throughout. It’s the richest way to see Flores.
