This Bali and Gili Islands tour combines two of Indonesia’s best escapes. You start with Bali’s culture and rice terraces. Then you sail to the car-free Gili Islands. There you snorkel with turtles and unwind on white sand. It’s the ideal mix of culture and beach for couples and friends.
We run trips on both Bali and Lombok’s Gilis, since 2006. We arrange the fast boats and transfers, so the islands flow seamlessly.
You get the best of two worlds in one trip. Explore Ubud’s temples and art. Then snorkel the reefs of the Gili Islands and meet sea turtles. The Gilis have no cars at all. You travel by bicycle or horse cart. See more in our which Gili guide and our Bali destination page.
The first half is Bali culture and nature. The second half is pure island relaxation. A scenic fast boat links the two. On the Gilis you snorkel, swim and watch sunsets over Bali. Accommodation blends Ubud hotels with island beach stays. It’s an easy, joyful island-hopping trip.

Arrive at DPS and transfer to Ubud. Relax and settle into your hotel surrounded by rice fields. Spend the evening at leisure, wandering Ubud's lively streets and cafés.
Discover the best of Ubud in a relaxed day. Walk the Tegallalang rice terraces, cool off at a jungle waterfall, and feel the energy of the Kecak fire dance at sunset.
After breakfast, transfer to the harbour for a scenic fast-boat crossing to the Gili Islands. Arrive at your chosen island, drop your bags, and spend the afternoon relaxing on white-sand beaches with views back to Bali.
Spend the day island-hopping on a guided snorkel trip around the three Gilis. Glide over coral gardens, swim alongside green sea turtles, and stop at the famous underwater statues. Relax on the sand between snorkel sites.
A free day to enjoy island life at your own pace. Rent a bicycle and circle the island, try a diving course, paddleboard the calm shallows, or simply do nothing at all. No cars, no rush
Take a morning fast boat back to Bali. Transfer south for an afternoon visit to the clifftop Uluwatu Temple and Kecak dance, then a seafood dinner on the beach at Jimbaran.
Free time for a final swim or coffee, then a private transfer to the airport. End of services.
We tailor it to you — lively Gili Trawangan, balanced Gili Air or quiet Gili Meno. See our which-Gili guide
