This private Lombok village and waterfall tour is the day for travellers who want the real island — not just its beaches. In ten unhurried hours you’ll wander a genuine local market, visit traditional villages where Sasak life carries on as it has for generations, take in the sweeping rice-field views of the Sembalun highlands and Bukit Selong, and finish with a refreshing swim beneath a rainforest waterfall. It’s Lombok’s culture, landscapes and nature in one rich day.
Travellers consistently tell us their favourite part was the guide — sharing history, translating market banter, explaining the village customs you’d never decode alone. That’s the difference between seeing Lombok and understanding it.
We’re a local team, born here, guiding since 2006 — and reviewers name our guides for a reason. You’ll travel privately, at your pace, with someone who grew up in the culture you’re exploring. The route touches the Sasak people’s living traditions with respect, supporting the villages we visit. Curious about the highlands too? See Sembalun and Mount Rinjani, or ask us anything on WhatsApp.
The tour lasts approximately 10 hours, starting at 8:00 AM and ending in the early evening.
