The small island of Lombok is dominated by the spectacular Mount Rinjani (3726m), Indonesia’s second-highest volcano, semi-active and held in awe by the islanders who regularly ascend the steep trail to the crater rim. We follow in their footsteps completing an introductory trek and wandering the crater to appreciate the bright emerald green waters of Lake Segara Anak. We then travel by boat to the tranquil Gili Islands where we can indulge in some snorkeling or just relax on its beautiful beaches. We complete this exciting journey with a fascinating cultural tour on Lombok including the traditional weaving in Sukarara, and Selong Belanak’s white sandy beaches.
Day 1: Arrival at Lombok International Airport – Hotel & Resort
On arrival at Lombok International Airport, you will be met in the arrival hall by our staff and transferred to your accommodation at Senggigi Beach.
Day 2: Hotel – Senaru Crater rim
Our hotel picks up at 06.00 AM and then transfer to Senaru, Register at the Rinjani Trek Centre (RTC) in Senaru The first hours of the trek you will pass the local field plantation where you can see the coffee plantation and other local plantation in Lombok until National park forest gate.
In the second hour, you will into the national park forest where you will climb steeply through a thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life, and a variety of butterflies around 1 hour’s walk you will arrive at Pos 1 where you can take rest.
From Pos 1, you can continue your journey to the extra pos with a similar atmosphere, around 1,5 hours you will arrive at Extra pos take a rest for while, and enjoy the forest atmosphere.
Continue your trip to pos 2 at Montong Satas ( 1,500 ASL ) for about 1 hour, you might see orchids and if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung on the way, arriving at Pos 2, take a rest for 1 hour and enjoy tasty food of your lunch.
When you are ready and get fresh, continue the trek to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak ( 2000 ASL ) for about 2 hours, enjoy the atmosphere of Rinjani mountain and other wild animals on the way, arrived at Mondokan Lolak, take rest and you can take picture of many monkeys you can found in this area.
Continue the trek to Cemara 5 pos for approximately 45 minutes, arrived at Cemara 5 Pos, and take a rest for a while.
The next trek is to the rim, about 45 minutes you will see savanna, Gili island and Mount Agung Bali also will be a nice view from here, cause in this area are fewer trees most there is grass, when you arrived at the rim ( 2.641 ), from the crater rim are sweeping views across the lake Segara Anak, Within the crater, Mt. Baru ( 2,351m) is an active, On a clear evening the Gili Isles, Bali and Mt. Agung can be seen to the west., Overnight at Crater rim, free at your own leisure.
Day 3: Senaru Crater Rim – Senaru Village – Gili Trawangan
Sunrise at the crater rim is memorable, After enjoying the view and breakfast, descend down the trail down to Senaru village through first grassland then back into the shade of the tropical forest. After about five to seven hours from the rim, the trek ends at Rinjani Trek Centre at the road head in Senaru, when you arrived at the Rinjani entrance at Senaru, the driver will pick you up and take you to the pier, arrive at the pier, take a speed boat to Gili Trawangan, arrive at Gili Trawangan, check-in at your hotel, free at your own leisure.
Day 4: Free at your own leisure – SPA Massage
After breakfast, This day is time to enjoy the Gili island atmosphere and hotel facilities or Chill out on the beach. enjoy a 1-hour free spa massage at the hotel.
Day 5: Gili Trawangan – Snorkeling Activity – Senggigi
After breakfast, prepare to check out from the hotel, explore the island by boat and enjoy the huge coral garden on Meno island and fish feeding activity in Gili Air during Snorkeling on the island, snorkeling ride the boat to the mainland and take you to Senggigi, on the way stop over at Nipah hill for Picture time with nice landscape with 3 Gili island as the background on the north and Mount Agung Bali in the west, arrive in Senggigi, check-in, free at your own leisure.
Day 6: Lombok Cultural and Beaches Tour
This morning Explore south Lombok to know the culture and tradition of Lombok by Visiting Traditional village, Sukarara hand weaving, Banyumulek village and Visit Gorgeous Selong Belanak Beach with white sandy beaches and if you want more activity you can do surfing in Selong Belanak as an optional activity, after enjoying the beaches, back to your hotel in Senggigi free at your own leisure.
Day 7: Departure – Lombok International Airport
Following breakfast, the trip concludes. Transfers to the airport will be arranged for your outbound flights.

What To Bring
Most trekkers will carry a small pack or day pack with personal items such as clothes, toiletries, and photography gear. Keep the gear to a minimum and don’t take anything up the mountain that you don’t have to! During the trek, you will just have to carry your small day pack with essential items such as sunglasses, sunscreen, water, etc. Porters are employed to carry the rest of your gear on the trek. Please keep this to a minimum while on the trek. the following list of items suggested to carry during the Rinjani trek:
